One of my favorite (I can’t believe I’m saying this…) trends for summer! Don’t you worry about whether or not you can pull this off - trust me momma, you can!
Start with a heavy gloss with a hint of color for daytime and then bump it up to a nice, matte ruby red for evening. So sexy, so chic!
Let’s Hear it for the Boys
Boyfriend blazers debuted this spring and will most definitely carry over into summer. From YSL to the Gap, you’re sure to find a well-fitting blazer to capture this look. Looks so fabulous when paired with your favorite pair of capris or skinny jeans.

For all the little ladies out there, let me just tell you this: every little princess should have a tutu in her closet this summer. Look for those with layers upon layers of soft chiffon. Pair with a simple tank and you’re ready for any summer day.
Prints Please
This is definitely not the season for simple! Search for splashy prints for the little one. It’s all about plaids and stripes for boys. Must haves include plaid cargo shorts, striped tees, and checked shorts. And let’s not forget about the girls. Look for frilly, flowery dresses - and I personally think the longer, the better! Other must haves include striped leggings and lots of bright polka dot tops.
Old School
Not to name drop, but every kid - both boys and girls - should have a pair of Chuck Taylor™ sneakers in their closet this summer. Basic black for boys never fails and sparkly pink for girls are sure to be a hit. Some things just never go out of style.
The Bucket Hat
Sun protection is far more important (well, almost!) than looking good. Remember to keep your little one’s precious skin protected from the harsh rays of the sun.
